YOUTH FAITH FORMATION
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd - ages 3-9
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is a Montessori-based curriculum where children are introduced to materials they can find at Mass or in the life of Jesus Christ. Children are read scriptures, parables, and Old Testament prophecies. They can reenact them through dioramas and figures in a quiet, prayerful atmosphere. Art materials are also available to create prayer cards and prayerful art as they feel moved. CGS is offered as Level 1 for children ages 3-6 and Level 2 for children ages 6-9.

First Communion - ages 7-14 (2nd-8th grade)
First Sacrament classes prepare children to receive their First Reconciliation in December, then begins preparation to receive their First Communion in the spring. Classes are typically split into groups of ages 7-10 and 11-14, as needed.
Youth Group - ages 13-18 (8th-12th grade)
Youth Group provides a friendly place for teens to learn about their faith, participate in spiritual enrichment, and help the community through service projects. Youth group meets weekly throughout the school year.
Confirmation - ages 13-18 (8th-12th grade)
Confirmation classes prepare teenagers to receive the sacrament of Confirmation. Classes meet once or twice a month throughout the school year. Confirmation Mass will be in May 2024 (exact date will be announced later).
Wednesday 6-7:30pm (Youth Group attendance is a requirement of Confirmation preparation)
