While most of the Youth today barely knew Saint John Paul II, they still see the impact which he had on the world.
JPII challenged the youth of the world not to settle for mediocrity! He motivated the world that Jesus desires to stir in our hearts so that we might achieve greatness!
Like many youth today, John Paul II knew suffering. He lost his mother, father and brother by the age of 20. At that same time, the Nazis invaded his home country of Poland leaving his home war-torn and in need of repair.
But Karol Wojtyla (JPII's name before becoming pope) never gave up hope! He held complete trust in Jesus Christ whom he looked to for joy and hope. He continued to act, write poetry and plays, play soccer, and enjoy
the time he spent with his friends. Karol led a completely normal life, but because of his strong faith,
his ordinary life was made extraordinary!
Please pray with us that we grow a community of holy young men and women dedicated to serving
Christ and His Church.
